• Children's Beach House - Environmental Education Center in Lewes, Delaware.
  
  
• Christina River Cleanup - The Christina River runs through the heart of the most urbanized area of Delaware. The river has suffered from years of neglect and has been used as a dumping ground for all types of debris. Each spring, hundreds of volunteers spend a day cleaning up the river. (April)
  
  
• DE Dept. of Agriculture Tree Poster Contest - In celebration of Arbor Day, Delaware students from kindergarten through fourth grade can participate in an art contest highlighting the environmental importance of trees. The winning drawing is reproduced as a large poster that is distributed to elementary schools and libraries statewide. (April)
  
  
• Delaware Greenway Council - Support greenways throughout Delaware.
  
  
• Delaware Nature Society - Non-profit organization fosters understanding, appreciation, and enjoyment of natural world through education. Preserves ecologically significant areas. Advocates stewardship & conservation of natural resources.
  
  
• Russell W. Peterson Urban Wildlife Refuge - Part of Wilmington Riverfront Development and Revitalization Project. Conectiv has sponsored $250,000 toward the wildlife refuge.
